From Monday to Friday I keep things simple. As are many of you who are reading this, I’m a busy person so my nutrition needs to be simple to prepare. My ‘go to’ breakfasts during the week are overnight oats which are prepared the evening before and stored in the fridge. Then all I need to do in morning is to add a few pieces of fruit such as blueberries and apple. This first meal of the day provides me with the necessary protein, carbs, fats and calories to fuel my day.
At the weekend I generally have more time. Specifically, on a Sunday morning, I enjoy a high protein omelette or heck sausages with scrambled eggs. You don’t have to be eating cabbage soup and celery smoothies from Monday – Friday and then go into “cheat mode” on weekends! Trust me, it isn’t sustainable. Find a balance that works for you and your schedule in the week.
When people first sign up at my personal training studio they need guidance with their nutrition. If you need help then please get in touch now.
